Day 26: Your favorite scene in The Hunger Games
• The Cave
“Well, I don’t have much competition here,” he says. I want to draw away, to close those shutters again, but I know I can’t. It’s as if I can hear Haymitch whispering in my ear, “Say it! Say it!” I swallow hard and get the words out. “You don’t have much competition anywhere.” And this time, it’s me who leans in.

Do you remember just a few short months ago we were going through the thrill of all the castings? I remember when I would look at the tracked tags such as The Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, all there would be was graphics of Kaya and Hunter. Then we were slowly getting news… Slowly hearing rumours of who auditioned and being very nervous. Then finding out Jennifer would officially be our Katniss. A lot of people were unaccepting but finally made peace and knew she was Katniss. Then we got more and more confirmed actors for certain roles and everything was just getting so real. And pictures, and the anticipation for pictures. The trailer. Just, everything. I remember how this all started and I will remember this journey with all of you. We are The Hunger Games fandom and I love you all.

I wish I was here from the beginning but I still love the fandom. and consider it my family. I love everyone that can appreciate what is happening to the story and still love the characters, no matter what.
